Orphans is a gothic exploration of personal time, space and memory. With age, the mind returns to people, themes and sensations, gathering them within loose stories. The past merges with the present to create a mixed domain of parents, spouses, children and former selves who pass in corridors and linger in rooms. The gift of revisiting brings the impossibility of being reunited, not only with others, but with other moments in time, oneself and ‘truth’ as it may have been.
